Hacienda La Papaya farm is owned by the most famous Ecuadorian specialty coffee producer, Juan Peňa. His coffee has won several awards, including US Barista Championship.
Juan grows several varieties, including Typica, Geisha, Sidra and B7. This lot was processed by the anaerobic washed method. The anaerobic fermentation enhances the acidity of this coffee, as well as its body. The result is very intensive with flavours of raisin and nectarines.
