Popis kurzu
The Dambi Uddo farm is located at a high altitude of 2145 m in the Guji region. The slow riping process of the cherries in these high altitudes gives the cherries more sugars, which results in sweeter coffees with higher acidity. All coffees grown at Dambi Uddo are ORGANIC certified and come from wild coffee trees. They also don’t use any chemical fertilizers or spraying. Besides coffee, they also produce honey and wood. In the harvest season, Dambi Uddo engages around 150 workers, which makes it very important for the local communities. The Guji region could be divided into 3 zones – Shakisso, Kercha and Uraga. Each of these zones produces coffee of slightly different flavour profiles. Shakisso is known for its spicy aftertaste, Uraga for higher acidity and Kercha for its florality.
