The journey of founders of this great Czech roastery began a couple of years ago by opening their coffee shop COKAFE in Ostrava. They did all the necessary work to run a café by themselves - being baristas, cooks, office workers, etc. Anyway Petr and Marie wanted to gain some new experience abroad. So they moved to Berlin where they worked as barisas in a well-known roastery Five Elephant. This is the point, where the first idea of opening a roastery came to life. Two years later they roasted a very first batch of Father’s coffee back in Ostrava on their Diedrich IR-12. Passion for serving people have not dissappeared, of course, so if you’d like to meet Father’s coffee team in person, you can do so in their coffee shop in Hukvaldy near Ostrava city.
