The journey of founders of this great Czech roastery began a couple of years ago by opening their coffee shop COKAFE in Ostrava. They did all the necessary work to run a café by themselves – being baristas, cooks, office workers, etc. Anyway Petr and Marie wanted to gain some new experience abroad. So they moved to Berlin where they worked as barisas in a well-known roastery Five Elephant. This is the point, where the first idea of opening a roastery came to life. Two years later they roasted a very first batch of Father’s coffee back in Ostrava on their Diedrich IR-12.
